New to White Heat but already bringing the fire, trumpeter and vocalist Rafael Castillo-Halvorssen leads a crew that knows how to stir up some serious dance floor mischief. Based in NYC and steeped in early jazz, ragtime, and swing, Rafael brings a sound that’s raw, joyful, and made for Balboa feet. This is the kind of ruckus we like—bold horns, tight rhythm, and irresistible energy.
